The T shirt is often used as a fashion accessory or as a way to decorate your home, but there’s a lot you can do with it to make it a bit more unique.
While most t shirts come with a pretty standard design and fit, the one I found myself designing is a little more colorful and has some subtle details like the buttons and sleeves.
This is a tutorial for you to try out and you can use any shirt that you want to make your own.
I’ll also show you how to make a simple design using just a pencil and some basic colored pencils, but it’s totally up to you how you want the shirt to look.
Create Your T Shirt Design First, you’ll need to make some basic drawings.
Just like I said before, you can draw anything you want on paper or on a photo album, but I’ve included a picture below for the sake of completeness.
Draw a rectangle of your desired design.
This should be around 15 inches wide and 15 inches high, and be rounded at the top.
Draw your words and phrases.
For example, “I love to go to the movies.”
Draw the top of the rectangle.
Here, I’m using a bright color for the word “toy” to make the shirt stand out more.
Sketch the T Shirt and Color Your Colors You can use either a standard color pencil or an inkjet printer, but we’re going to use a digital inkjet.
We’ll be using the Pencil Pencil, which is available at your local hardware store.
Simply choose the pencil you want and start drawing on paper.
Don’t forget to draw the outline of the shirt you’re going for and the words “toys for toy-loving kids” on the inside.
Now that you have the design you want, simply start drawing the words in your drawing.
For the text, just draw the words from left to right and right to left, with the bottom edge being the word for the shirt.
For any other parts of the design, draw the edges and outlines separately.
Add the Words and Words With the word and phrase already in place, draw a line across the word.
Here’s how to do that.
Draw the letter on the left and the text on the right.
Then draw the line across and over again.
Fill in the Details With the text and the letters, start filling in the details.
For this tutorial, I’ll be drawing some letters on the top edge of the pencil line, but you could make a few different shapes.
If you want a more realistic look, draw letters on all four sides of the line.
Once you have all the details filled in, you’re ready to begin filling in other details, like the words.
For my first line, I used the black and white ink I have on hand to make things easier.
Now, draw your words on the line with the black ink and then the white.
For another line, you could fill in the lines with both black and yellow ink, or you could do a gradient.
The first gradient line would be the yellow, and the gradient lines would be black and green.
After you have those lines filled in and filled in the other details like words, the words and the word, just fill in each word individually.
For these two lines, I added some letters at the end.
Add a Background I usually use a black and grey background for my t shirts.
If that’s not an option for you, you should also use white for the buttons, sleeve and collar.
For your shirt, you might use a neutral color for your design and your background might be different.
In this tutorial I used a lighter, grey color for my design and I chose to make sure the design looked great on a white shirt.
Draw Your T-Shirt And Add the Button And Color You’ve just created a cute t shirt design, but how does it look when it’s finished?
It’s pretty simple.
I drew a rectangle, and then I drew the lettering on the front.
Once the letters were drawn, I put them in the center.
And that’s it!
You should now have your own T shirt!
