College shirts are no longer just for college students, they’re now a staple of society, according to the brand that first put them on the market.
The College Tee has been a staple in the American consciousness since the early 1900s.
As part of a move to make its products more comfortable, college shirts have also been worn by people who aren’t students.
College Tee is no longer in the college-wear pantheon of college-themed apparel, but it’s still a staple for many.
And the brand is working to get the word out.
The College Tee started out as a way to make shirts that would be comfortable and cool, says the brand’s CEO, Ben Geddes.
But it soon became clear that it wasn’t a one-size-fits-all shirt for everyone, and that the shirt was becoming less popular.
“We decided to put a focus on the college crowd and to give people a more comfortable fit,” Gedds tells Fast Company.
The shirt is now a fixture on college campuses.
It has even been worn in court.
Gedders says that the shirts are also becoming more popular among older students.
“Our customers are aging, and they’re starting to look for new ways to look cool,” he says.
“There’s been a big trend for guys in their 20s and 30s, and now they’re looking for something a little bit more tailored.”
Geddes says that College Tee’s first big push was in the mid-2000s, but the brand quickly became a top seller.
“I think that the response has been phenomenal,” he adds.
“It has gotten a lot of attention from college brands, and people are talking about the product, which is very refreshing.”
The brand also has plans to expand its reach into the office, and the idea of a shirt for the office came to him at a dinner with some other executives.
The conversation led to the creation of a brand-new line of shirts for office workers, and Geddys company decided to name it after the college that made them.
He’s also working on a new line of college shirts that will be even more casual, and will be available in a variety of colors.
“People are really looking for more options,” Gads says.
The brand says that its shirts are available in many different sizes, and some shirts are even available in sizes that are too big to fit on a person’s chest.
But for Geddies, the company is still looking to make the shirt for women, because that’s what they’re more used to.
“Women have traditionally had a lot more options than men,” Geads says.
